It's all about specialization out there,
the world's foremost ant observer
knows the skinny on supercolonies
while I drive to the food store
and consume public radio.
Later, the bilingual brain,
struggle pumps, inherited traits,
goosebumps, repetition, graphpaper,
snowflakes and ears.
After all this time listening
I know a little bit about a lot of things.
I must find something to study,
perhaps
the screen we are projected upon.
