A world of poetry whistles away
outside my walls of straw and clay,
while presumption shackles my will
with arcane and absurd laws:
No walking barefoot in the grass.
None of your business.
No loud music and please, above all,
No separation from mood.
It is strange, isn't it,
how the ownership of
an anxious reverie
can imprison a prescient muse.
